Every four to five years, depending on the age and kind of movement in your watch, we advise servicing it. The original manufacturer will frequently advise you to get your watch maintained every two years, but this is not required; only when it is necessary may your watch be serviced.
When your watch starts to drastically lose or gain time, stops performing after routine maintenance, or suffers major internal damage, you will know it requires service.
The first task would be to diagnose the issue if its not already known. To give you the most accurate assessment we will need to perform tests in person at our Central London shop. Further inspection may be required at our workshop.
We will give you either a fixed quote or an estimation depending on what work needs to be done. Payment is made upon collection of your item's.
Our expert technicians will repair your item as soon as they can - some repairs are simple and can be done on the spot, whereas others may need significantly longer. Repairs can range anywhere between 10 mins - 3 months so there is a large disparity.
When your item is ready for collection you will be informed via your selected choice of contact whether that be phone, text or email.

Depending on the age and movement of your watch, we recommend servicing your watch every 4/5 years. The original manufacturer will often suggest to have your watch serviced every 2 years but in actuality this is not neccesary - your watch can be serviced only when it needs one. You will know when your watch needs servicing when it starts to lose/gain time significantly, if your watch stops working after regular maintenance or if the watch sustains signifcant damage internally.
A full service entails your watch being opened up and fully stripped, any damaged or defective parts will be repaired or replaced, all the necessary components will be oiled and lubricated to ensure the parts move correctly. The watch is reassembled then finetuning, regulating and testing is done so the watch is accurate and running smoothly. If applicable, the watch will then be polished to look as good as new.

Yes, if the client requests, we can exclude watch polishing from the service. We understand some clients may not want their watch polished for several reasons.

Vintage watches can be significantly hardler to service as components for odler watches are not as readily available. If the parts are available then we can service the watch. If they aren’t available an alternative could be using some non-original parts that function the same way.
